All prospective assignments are reviewed individually to determine whether they fall within my primary target clients, areas of expertise and services offered, and whether the scope is consistent with my professional, ethical and independence requirements. I may decline assignments that fall substantially outside these areas, create an actual or perceived conflict of interest, require expertise or professional accreditation that I do not hold, or could compromise the independence and credibility of the advice or assessment being provided.

I generally prefer to be engaged with and contracted directly by the organization or company that will ultimately receive and use my services. Direct engagement provides greater clarity regarding the purpose and scope of the assignment, expectations, deliverables, confidentiality, professional responsibilities and accountability. It also allows me to understand the client's needs directly, clarify technical issues without unnecessary layers of communication, and ensure that my name, professional profile, credentials and work are represented and used only for the specific engagement to which I have agreed. Direct contracting also provides greater transparency and certainty regarding professional fees, invoicing, payment schedules and responsibility for payment.

I am open to working as part of reputable organizations including consulting firms where this adds value and where roles and responsibilities are clearly defined. In such arrangements, I require transparency regarding the end client, the intended use of my expertise and credentials, my specific role and deliverables, contractual and payment arrangements, and any onward use or submission of my CV, profile or work. Any sharing of my professional information for another proposal, client or assignment should be subject to my prior agreement.
